ABOUT

Named “Most Influential Woman in Construction” by Built International and 'Entrepreneur Woman of the Year', Tamika has been widely acknowledged and respected as a business woman and entrepreneur building commercially viable companies with a social conscience, delivering social & affordable housing.

From founding and building businesses in development to offsite construction, Tamika devoted her life to see the delivery of social and affordable housing to the most vulnerable cohorts within our community. With over 18 years developing innovative businesses in the sector and shortlisted for Queenslander of the Year, Tamika works with businesses and key worker organisations  delivering purpose built communities to support infrastructure projects across regional Australia. Built with a long-term objective to delivery necessary supply whilst equally ensuring communities are supported through periods of need in their housing requirements.

As a community minded philanthropist, Tamika has lead initiatives such as the #istandforkelly movement uniting the construction sector to support the children of domestic violence victim Kelly Wilkinson.  In just 48 hours, suppliers nationally stood with Tamika to support this family to see the formation of a 7 bedroom home built for children in need.

...... "In tragic circumstances, the hope that every child deserves, starts with the security of a home. And within that, a sector of 90% of men stood with me to declare that they too were not ok with this behaviour; and all of us sought to correct the wrong, with the little we could do to make things right... And whilst we can never bring their Mum home, perhaps we remind them that they are not alone, good people are still there..."
